What is PRFM?

Platelet-Rich Fibrin Matrix of PRFM Is an upgraded version of platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), known for remaining longer at the site of injection. With this technology, the fibrin forms a matrix which works like a scaffold that holds the growth factors in place where injected, releasing them gradually over 7 days. Compared to the immediate release of classic PRP, the target tissues can more completely utilize the growth factors over the extended time. We employ state of the art technology (Selphyl), the system that delivers plasma with growth factors, stem cells and other restorative cell messengers devoid of contaminating red and white blood cells. Which Treatments do we offer for you?

Acne scar subcision with PRP injections:

Acne scars frequently appear to be concave shape as the fibroid tissue (scar tissue) is pulling the scar down and creates crater appearing deformity. The process of subcision involves undermining this fibrous tissue and thus releasing the pull. After skin cleansing, the acne scar is numbed with local anesthetic, subcision is made and PRP being injected all through the same entry point. This procedure is done in a series of three sessions for optimal results.

Feminine Wellness:

PRFM injections are recommended for intimate rejuvenation to improve quality of skin and mucosa of intimate area. The treatment is aimed to reverse either age related or disease related changes in this delicate area. After cleansing, we apply local anesthetic (and may reinforce with injectable anesthetic) and inject PRFM in three sessions four to six weeks apart.

Hair Restoration:

PRFM is frequently helpful with hair restoration. The stem cells in PRFM copy existing follicles and produce initially very fine hair, which eventually turn into coarse mature hair. The number of sessions varies from patient to patient, from three to six sessions. This treatment works best in combination with supplemental nutraceuticals Nutrafol and topical Minoxidil serum, which promotes circulation. Once desired effect was achieved, we recommend maintenance sessions once or twice a year.

Neck and Decollete:

Neck and decollete are often neglected, creating contrast between well preserved facial skin and aged skin below. PRFM injections are safe for this delicate area and can improve the appearance of aged skin. The downtime is minimal, the procedure is easy to tolerate and requires at least three sessions.

Tear Troughs:

Tear troughs, or under eye circles, are caused by several different reasons. In some cases, PRFM can improve appearances of the undereye circles for the right candidates. As your skin gets a boost from your own stem cells, growth factors and cell messengers, you no longer appear tired. This procedure will have downtime as the swelling from injections lingers for two to three days.

Pan Facial Rejuvenation:

In addition to tear troughs, PRFM could be used in the area around the mouth, mid and lower face. Stubborn lines around the mouth, also known as “smokers” or “barcode” lines will benefit from injections of platelet rich plasma, which is safe and effective. This is a great alternative to dermal filler in this area. This procedure should be scheduled with downtime in mind, as it may lead to bruising and swelling for a few days.

Scar Revision:

The optimum window for scar revision is within the first 12 months. The exact modality is advised based on each individual case. Some of the scars require microneedling assisted PRFM delivery, and others will benefit from direct injections into the scar. Scar remodeling is a gradual process, results will appear in a few months from each of the three treatment sessions.
